What we collect

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

Why we collect it

Our legal basis is performing our contract with you, by delivering what you bought, or our legitimate interest in running the Site, such as fraud prevention.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of other companies to run the Site:

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account exists, since they're what proves you own what you've bought. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We'll keep purchase records only as long as we're legally required to for tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

Email hello@notesabout.com for any of these. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. It's necessary for the Site to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising. GoatCounter, our analytics tool, doesn't use cookies at all.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
